NowyStyl – Orgatec 2024

The final appearance of the booth was the result of a team effort involving various design departments, along with the engagement of the general contractor, and represented an extension of the winning competition entry for the booth concept. The Nowy Styl company focused on functionality, usability, and openness in the booth design. The main idea behind the project was to create three very large fabric forms that were visible from a distance and helped organize the booth's layout. These forms marked the most important areas of the booth and emphasized the two corners adjacent to the main visitor pathway. In one corner, there was the reception area, while in the other, there was the exhibition of a new chair called Prox, designed by Martin Ballendat. The third form, located on the side of the booth, highlighted the meeting area with the Bound soft seating collection, designed by Karim Rashid. The free, vertical fabric forms reached the maximum height of the hall (approximately 7 meters), while the rest of the booth was geometric and horizontal. The organic shape of the forms resembled natural phenomena such as mushroom gills or sand dunes. The gentle swaying effect in the wind created the impression of ocean waves or the movement of jellyfish. Color and light played a crucial role in shaping the booth. Sophisticated shades of warm colors—creams, beiges, browns, powdery pinks—with accents in terracotta, pistachio, and olive, illuminated by light with a temperature of 3000K, created a cohesive, friendly, and inviting atmosphere, providing an appropriate backdrop for the furniture presentation. The overall design was inspired by this year's company slogan: RELATIONS, COLOR, LIFE.
